Spring is here! It’s almost hot.  Perfect weather for

sitting on the porch swing stitching.

In the planning stage, yard sale next month. If you enjoy threads, we have a basket full at $1 each, no need to wait for the yard sale. We’ll be putting out old models, so tell your friends who don’t stitch, or purchase something and say you stitched it.

We’ve some nice new books and kits; details to follow below. In case you didn’t know, we’re on Facebook. Become a fan of Stitch N’ Stuff! I’ve surprised myself and posted several new arrivals the day they arrived. Just need to learn how to do the picture thing!

New Mill Hill kits for Autumn are HERE! They are super. The small kits all include a magnet so they can be used on the “fridge.” One is called School Pictures, guess why, it’s a frame for that special child’s school picture. The Irate Pirate has a parrot sitting on his head. And the Harvest Garden of vegetables, pumpkin eggplant and apple with crow, very attractive! The button and bead kits (as I said), are super. Cabin Fever is a collage and features a log cabin, fire and wildlife. Gather Together (and Give Thanks) shows a house among the fall fields. Paisley Pumpkin and Fall Blooms are contemporary and colorful, “love’em”.  Haunted Library and Ghost Dance are additions to the village groupings, of course all decorated for the Halloween season. $6.50 for the little ones, $12.50 for the larger. Aquamarine is a common gem and gets its name from Latin Words, water and sea. Aquamarine ranges in color from a faint light but to blue and blueish greens. The excellent diagrams make stitching this a pleasure. $15.00
