Last weekend I traveled to Ohio to attend a needlework market in Columbus, quite convenient to tie in a visit to our son Alan and fiancée Kierston. This was a national needle art show and by far the cross stitch exhibitors were outnumbered by knitting and traditional needlepoint. However several of my favorite distributors attended and the major cross stitch thread manufacturers released new colors, we got a peek at the new limited edition scissors (due to release 8/15, hopefully in stock by Labor Day!) “Roberta” expresses a love of nature… and of life. They remind me of Vera Bradley’s Peacock. I’ve pre ordered, but if you want a pair (or two) give us a call (800 730 2464) or order online. They have a nice large scissor for Lefties!

Nutcracker Suite Ornaments – Mill Hill I think these are quite nice! I’ve always enjoyed this holiday ballet. These ornaments have been well received by several ladies that stitch everyone an ornament yearly. 6 different designs. $6.00 each.

LETTERS FROM NORA… A, B, AND C – BY NORA CORBETT   Each letter of the Alphabet will eventually arrive, but we just have these three to get started. They each feature a beautiful fairy!! They each will be different; the charts are large and will NOT be difficult to stitch. (A is being reprinted, due to chart errors, sorry).

 

 

Hip Hop Black Cat - SAMSARAH DESIGNS Get ready for Halloween with this cute black cat jumping over a pumpkin. Stitched on 18 count over 2 with perle cottons this will stitch quickly. Nice button accents! Companion Wool Appliqué pattern included; if you would like to do this together, give me a call and we’ll schedule a day to make the pillow top. (We’re still waiting for this chart to arrive, but I love it!)
